A PhD in Viticulture and Oenology (majoring in Viticulture) has afforded me many wonderful career opportunities in the production sector of the wine industry. I started out in research, moved into consulting and education and have been priviledged to be involved in a number of regional soil and climate profiling projects. 

Although most recent years have seen me in winery sales and general management roles, my knowledge of vineyard management and years of experience in the field qualify me to assist growers to acheive the most from their vines while using efficient methodologies. 

I am currently Chair of the Margaret River Wine Association Technical Sub-Commitee, a group dedicated to expanding sustainable practices in the region to benefit our environment, our wine tourism offering, and our unified brand.
